Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Blue My Mind

This polish landed in my collection via the magical bag of polish Katie gave me when I was visiting her in Richmond. And I have to say, she knows me well because I absolutely adore this polish!

Blue My Mind is a bright cobalt blue with a soft shimmer finish. This is one of those polishes that just glows on the nail.

The formula while easy to work with was a bit thin. I used three coats in my swatches.

Now, I have to say while I absolutely love this polish as is it is even more awesome topped with a matte top coat. I’ve been testing out the new matte top coat from Pure Ice (or, as they call it, a Frost Finish Matte Top Coat) and decided to try this polish matte. Oh my gosh, y’all. It is amazing! It’ll be awhile before I review the Frost Finish Matte Top Coat but I did post a picture of that manicure over on TDV Instagram.

If you think the name sounds familiar it’s likely because OPI also has a polish called Blue My Mind. Color wise this is quite similar to Sally Hansen Batbano Blue.
