Balancing Act

Sometimes I steer away from wearing statement pieces because they feel a bit loud to me. But sometimes I see a statement item like this crazy awesome skirt by Alexis at Neiman Marcus and temptation takes over and I can’t help but to pull the trigger. I figured out that by styling the skirt simply with black and white that I wouldn’t push outside of my comfort zone too much.
