Summer Staples from Nordstrom

Tomorrow is one of my favorite days of the year! The smell of hot dogs grilling on the pit, fireworks blasting off in the distance and the warm breeze of the summer air kissing your cheeks. Ahh, it’s summer! If you are searching for a few summer staples to help carry you through the season, I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom and picked out a few favorites that I’ve included in this post. Nordstrom is one of my favorite one stop shops & when the summer months rolled around it was the first place I made a pit stop to get ready for the heat.

Gingham has always been one of my summer staples. I especially love this eyelet dress from J.Crew as it is to dress it up or down depending upon your plans. Pair it with a pair of slides and a straw hat for a day in the sun or a pair of heels and a slicked back ponytail and wear it out to dinner.

Good sandals are hard to find. Thankfully Steve Madden makes finding cute pairs simple and easy. I love the way this pair laces up and ties around the ankle.

As you can tell with my white denim jeans, I've been really into white denim this summer. White denim is easy to pair with any color blouse or shoes, I like to mix things up with bright colors and accessories to add fun pops of color to my outfits.

I love how fun and girly this dress is. Topshop always makes great and affordable pieces that I usually end up wearing on rotation for the hot summer months.

Jean shorts are a summer necessity. I love this pair because they are loose fitting and not too short where you feel uncomfortable wearing them out to lunch or to run errands.
