Setting the Nativity – Frosty Festivities 2013

Is it this time of the year again? Oh dear – where has the time gone! Welcome to Jennifer’s ‘Frosty Festivities’ Blog Hop 2013 (with a huge prize to win)! She again invited a bunch of lovely people to join in the fun and she is hosting even more the coming weekend. So stay tuned!

You should be coming from Clair and her lovely crafty creations (look at that bead jewellery!!!) if you are in line of the hop. You can always start fresh from the beginning on Jennifer’s Blog.

I got a layout for you today, which contains a mixture of Christmassy and non-Christmassy products. I just dug into my stash from last year and picked some papers I thought would fit together. The background paper was in Shimelle’s last year’s Christmas Box and all the other things from deep down the patterned paper scraps I could find.

The picture is (of course) from last year’s Christmas with my brother and SIL and my nieces. Ronja, in the picture, is setting up the Nativity and was totally absorbed in doing it so she didn’t recognized me taking the picture of her!

I always leave some photos of past Christmases in my drawer so I can easily can get into a festive mode with scrapping the memories from the past years. Usually my Christmas Journal doesn’t contain many photos of the current happenings, more of older things so I still have plenty of stories to tell and photos to scrap.

Blog-Hop-Give-a-way: If you comment on all the blogs in the hop, finishing at http://www.jennifergracecreates.com to let Jennifer know you’ve been all the way around, then you’ll be in with a chance to win a jolly seasonal prize of Simple Stories December Documented and Elle’s Studio Noel items, worth over £28! All entries must be received by Monday the 11th of November at 10.59pm GMT. Your next stop along the hop is the amazing Diane Payne!

Good luck and happy crafting!
