Thanksgiving Table Setting
Happy Sunday! Today we are sharing a Thanksgiving Tablescape. I used all of our existing dinnerware and then added a little wooden cutting board to each place setting and then cut some branches from the yard, added in a few pumpkins, some eucalyptus, fresh pears and grapes and then a few faux branches that I have had for forever. Then I added in a few tapered candles to finish it off and add some height and a warm glow. I took both daylight shots and evening shots (at the end of the post) where you can see the how the room feels in the warmth of the candlelight.
Instead of the napkins I actually used kitchen towels at each place setting. I love the added texture and the stripes plus for a huge meal like Thanksgiving it comes in handy having a big ol’ towel instead of just a regular napkin – ha!
I filled the top dishes with Butternut Squash Bisque, which Ruby managed to climb up onto the bench and enjoy while I was attempting to take these photos – whoops! I can’t really blame her though – it was really good!
