Friday Finds
Today's post could also be my own personal wishlist, with gorgeous new finds including lighting, ceramics and art. Lightweight and poetic, the handcrafted
Kurage table lamp was created for Foscarini by Italian designer
Luca Nichetto and the multidisciplinary studio
Nendo which was founded by Japanese architect Oki Sato. Kurage means jellyfish in Japanese and the lamp resembles a sea animal which dances through the seas cradled by a suffused light. This beautiful effect is created with the use of the finest Japanese washi paper.
I'm currently in the process of sourcing living room pieces for an exciting interior project and there are lots of things from
Father Rabbit catching my eye, including
this beautiful new woven jute rug and
Warranbrooke artworks. Make sure you also checkout the
Father Rabbit Interiors Catalogue, Volume 01. Introducing
The Temperate,
The Botanist &
Mr Fastidious, these three very different characters give their interpretation of Father Rabbit's aesthetic, with beautifully styled rooms and how to achieve each look.
I really love the uniqueness and warm colour palettes of these abstract, minimalist artworks by
BorinaM. Found on
Etsy, see her full range of works
here.
Striving for perfection in form and function,
Light Ladder create objects that are thoughtful, useful and made to last. I've taken a fancy to these gorgeous pieces below, all of which are designed in their studio in Brooklyn, New York.
Photography by Nicole Franzen I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and to my NZ friends, enjoy the long one!
