As a huge fan of famed interior photographer
Pia Ulin, I love seeing and sharing the incredible spaces that she captures behinds the lens. Now, thanks to
Residence magazine we get a glimpse of her own home in New York where she recently relocated from Sweden. Together with architects
Bangia Agostinho Pia has completely transformed the Brooklyn loft and I'm sure you'll agree the results are amazing.
Photographed by Pia and styled by her colleague and close friend
Lotta Agaton, the monochrome palette that characterises Pia's photography is evident throughout. The darker shades of black and grey give depth, while touches of burgundy as seen in the antique rug that belonged to Pia's parents provide richness and texture. Despite being newly renovated, the house has so much soul thanks to a mix of vintage pieces, Scandinavian design classics and beautiful black and white photography.
