New + Noted
I'm excited to share some news from both Scandinavian and local design talents today, starting with a stunning new range of posters by
Atelier Cph. A multidisciplinary creative studio based in central Copenhagen, the studio was founded by the Dutch art director Mandy Rep and Danish trend forecaster Sara Ingemann. Together they've designed their 2nd
Atelier Cph poster collection, consisting of two series
Circles and
Outlined. Continuing to work with hand painted textiles,
Circles combines round shapes with cut out lines to create a minimalistic composition. The art work is shot with a Hasselblad camera by the Danish photographer
Jonas Danholt, to create an effect of showing structure, paint and tactility in a new digital way. For the special edition
Outlined series, they took a more graphic approach by combining hand painted fabric cut outs with digital grained shapes connected with thin white lines. As these styled images show, the posters look striking when displayed side by side, but are equally gorgeous on their own. Featuring a new colour palette, I love how the calm neutrals give contrast to the black and white.

Designed in harmony with nature, the material choices of wood and concrete provide a natural yet solid foundation. These elements are softened with both linen and velvet curtains, warm leather furniture and patterned rugs. An absolute must-see, check out the full house tour

Lightly have launched the
Cinnamon Collection. Calling on founder Cindy-Lee Davies' personal travels and the brand's well-established sense of adventure, the new season is an exploration of colour and form. It brings to life the colours of desert architecture and the warm scents of traditional spices, with beautiful pieces ranging from tabletop items and planters though to lighting, dining and living. Some of my favourites include the new range of
vessels in earthy tonal hues, the handmade solid brass
office items and beautifully textural
cushions.

Douglas and Bec have officially released their stunning new
RD Sofa alongside a beautiful new collection of freestanding lamps entitled
Pare. The RD Sofa which comes
Full and
Half sizes, exudes luxury while maintaining the pared-back aesthetic of
Douglas and Bec pieces. Plush feather-filled cushions are upholstered in a choice of linen and velvet earthy-toned fabrics, with the crisp lines of the American oak frame providing a sense of lightness and space. Inspired by the work of regionalist painters Rita Angus and Christopher Perkins, the
Pare lamps feature playful geometric proportions, rich materials and a new earthy colour palette. Shown below is the exquisite
Pare Floor Lamp 01 with the hand blown glass in white, brushed brass rod and marble base in verde. See the full range
