Splish Splash Printable Pool Party Invitation

Just before the summer ends, you might want to enjoy more time by the pool. And for me here in Australia, I’m so ready to leave behind this cold weather and welcome Spring in September!

I have designed a printable pool party invitation for you guys, and this require a little DIY, which means it’s going to be fun. I’ve also created a tutorial video to show you how I assemble the invitation, so go ahead and watch me say “life donuts” more than a couple of times :) I thought it is more fun than saying Lifebuoy.

Materials: Printable Splish Splash Pool Party Invitation Template, A4 or 8.5 x 11 card stock (I used 220 gsm matte paper), colour printer (mine is Canon MG 6250) x-acto knife, scissors, ruler, embellishment brads, pen.
You need to download Adobe Reader (it’s free!) to open the template. The template file is a password-protected PDF, and can only be opened using an Adobe Reader.

Step 1: Print out the Printable Splish Splash Pool Party Invitation Template on a A4 or 8.5 x 11 card stock.
Step 2: Cut out the square invitation template using ruler and x-acto knife
Step 3: Cut out the Life Donuts using scissors
Step 4: Mark a hole on top of each life donut, overlapping with the invitation, using the tip of the x-acto knife. Remember that the two life donuts are different in size.
Step 5: Insert embellishment brads and fasten the back
Step 6: Do not forget to write down the details of your party!
For more precise step-by-step, please watch the video below.
