Culture night in Reykjavík

Last weekend was a pretty big event here in Reykjavík, Culture Night. It's actually a cultural day now but ends in the evening with a big concert downtown and fireworks. During the day there is music and art and all kinds of happy things all over the downtown but I guess this years biggest hit was Russell Crowe's concerts (yes, many) with Patti Smith. Anyway we didn't see them perform but we saw many other nice things. I have been trying to remember to take the camera with me whenever I go out and I was so happy that I did this time but sadly the battery went dead after a short while. So now I have to remember two things: 1. To charge the battery and 2. To take the camera with me. So here some pictures from this gorgeous day.
