MARFA (PT 2): A ROAD LESS WANDERED

We packed up suitcases of clothing and journeyed towards Marfa. I had the pleasure of bringing a bunch of goodies from Isabella Rose Taylor and from Apricot Lane with me to shoot. Unfortunately our bohemian-themed photoshoot was cut short by a car crash on the third day. Everyone came out relatively unscathed but the mood to shoot more carefree shots under the Texan sun was ruined. Only three outfit sets out of the planned six were captured.

I still had a great time amidst all of the chaos: the most perfect Texan sunsets that took my breath away, the mind-numbingly good made-from-scratch Mexican food, the laughter and conversations with my travel companions, and just a sense of peace when staring out into the rolling hills of green every morning.

I cannot wait to go back and to plan another photoshoot trip with these same people. The companion makes the trip.
