Lessons in Financial Stability

Staff from DOCO Credit Union gave a few helpful tips on finance management to seniors at Albany High School Thursday morning.

This is part of a plan to help all seniors in the Dougherty County School System understand the importance of money management and keeping a good credit score.

Since the students are graduating and headed off to school and the work force, this gives them some tools to use before they make any decisions that could put them into a financial crisis.

Financial Advisor Daryl Salter says savings is the key to help anyone’s financial situation. Also, living below your means and not trying to keep with other people.

Students were given a copy of the book “Money Rules.”
