#AmazingPetExpo: Southern California Pet Expo, Pomona, CA, Feb. 21 – 22, 2015

Dog devotees will flock to the city of Pomona for two days in February for the Southern California Pet Expo– an event dedicated to all of our furry, finned and fine-feathered friends.

Featured Pet Celebrities

• Making a big splash at the event, the stars of the Animal Planet series Tanked (Wayde King, Brett Raymer and Irwin Raymer) will meet fans, sign autographs and reel in attendees during a riveting talk on topics ranging from creating tanks for famous friends of those with fins to coral conservation.
• Shorty Rossi from the Animal Planet series Pit Boss and his faithful four-pawed pal Hercules will pose for photos with fans, sign autographs and help to shine a spotlight on the need to rescue Rovers who often find themselves unjustly dogged by prejudice.

Activities

• Talented tail-waggers will display their dexterity as they work their way through weave poles, totter on a teeter and bound through tires during the agility demonstration.
• Attendees can cheer as dogs show off their extraordinary abilities in the Pet Talent Contest.
• A canine-inspired version of a classic children’s game, pet parents can play musical chairs with their pups.
• Dogs in disguises will vie for prizes in the Pet Costume Contest.
• More than 1,500 adorable adoptables found forever families to love at Amazing Pet Expos in 2014, and the mission to pair pets with loving parents continues at the Southern California Pet Expo, which is also a mega-adoption event featuring Fidos and felines from an array of shelters and rescue groups in the local area.
• Plus free nail trims, prize giveaways, discounted vaccinations, microchipping and worm and flea preventatives; the chance to mull over Rover-related merchandise at vendor booths, and much more!

Note: Pets welcome. Proof of current age-appropriate immunizations and a non-retractable lead for dogs are required.
