Fairy tales do come true
I’m in love. Lisbon is like a real fairy-tale. The streets and buildings are incredible, the people are so friendly, the food is absolutely delicious and the views are indescribable. Everything is perfect except for the cycle paths haha, but more about that in another post.
The three days I was there went by so extremely quick that it’s not even fair. Sometimes experiences happen that you cannot even describe and some rare days come that your horoscope is actually right. While I’m that kind of person who thinks its bullshit, on that last day everything in that damn thing was right, which was strange. So I said to my friend, no way that this is happening, horoscopes are bullocks. Guess I was wrong this time. There’s a first time for everything right? Haha. Just kidding.
It was amazing to experience this incredible city with all its rare experiences with one of my best friends. To chat about literally everything, having good talks and a lot of laughs, which led to one of my favourite trips ever even though we had a slight delay. For anyone who wonders what I mean with slight, that’s 16 hours. That was because of a strike of Tap pilots, and eventhough we rather wanted to walk through the city those hours we were still having fun. How that happened? Good question, I don’t even know the answer myself.
We were in Lisboa for three days but didn’t make any plans, which was good. We were just chilled out and it felt like a real relaxing but fun holiday for us, while we have seen quite a lot of the city.
Here are the first few photos from the more than 500 (!) that I shot there. Normally I don’t shoot that many pictures but Lisbon is an exception, apparently for many things. The city is so photo genetic that its unreal, it really looks like a fairy-tale. I also filmed quite a bit so I’m thinking of creating a Lisboa after movie and of course, you guys will see that one for sure.
