Remember when I’ve told you guys about Vintage per Kilo? No, well just click on this link and just read it, if you don’t want to click on that link just continue with reading since I’m not going to force you guys something haha. Anyway I wanted to show you guys what I’ve got and why I’ve got these clothes since Vintage per Kilo was this time in two big studio’s from the Schram family in Amsterdam Noord. There were coats, bags, shoes, skirts (short and long), trousers, dresses (short and long) and way more. Vintage per kilo is through the whole country, next time they’re in Rotterdam so if you didn’t go this time or couldn’t go make sure you’ll be there next time since it’s an awesome experience. The fact is, it is vintage and they try to search for the best, but there are some things what are just nasty from the inside or stuff like that. So be aware on spots and stuff like that.
If you’re going there, there is probably a big chance that you get disappointed because you see something really pretty but it’s not your size. Yes, been there, done that. I just absolutely loved a certain black coat and from the inside it had this metallic glance which I absolutely adored, no doubt about that. But there it was. It was way to huge, not a little tiny bit. But I guess it was 6 sizes to big, so there it went, back to the clothes hanger, and I’ve cried. A lot. Okay no. That last thing was a lie, but I didn’t liked it to be honest since vintage shopping is all about finding that few pieces that really stand out in your opinion and what brightens up your closet. Not because of the colour but since many people wore it, before you came along and bought that one jacket or skirt. So it’s like a bit of a clothing family. A really huge one.
I’ve found the little sweater and it’s just adorable , it’s kind of a crop sweater I guess if that’s a word and otherwise it is one from now on. I really like this item since you can combine it with everything and it is just cute, especially in the middle of spring or in the evening during summer when it gets a bit colder and you want something above your other shirt. It’s just perfect for that. It has sprinkles all over it so if you look closely it looks like an ice cream, and what a coincidence, I like icecream. Ben & Jerry is heaven as well as Italian icecream.
And I also bought at the Vintage per kilo sale this U.S. Army jacket which I really like. It’s oversized just like the tartan blazer but it’s different from all the other darkgreen kind jackets. And about the jacket some people might say, we need to forget what happend and if you wear jackets like this we are never able to forget it. But that’s simply a point I want to make. We need to remember what has happend in the past since it’s a huge learning experience. And the point is that if something comes out we eventually all learn from this experience or if there is a lot in the news we all learn from that as well. And stuff like wars are things that we never ever need to forget since I hate wars. Because of war a lot of innocent people have died, is that what we want? Nope didn’t think so either. Anyway that’s basically why I like this jacket, because it has a story and this story isn’t meant to forgotten.
And from a storytelling jacket we go to the tartan blazer that has a metallic glance on it, I kind of figured that out ten minutes ago but if you make a pictures of it, looks really close or keep the blazer in daylight you will see that immediately. Which is something really cool if you ask me, then you don’t have that typical tartan blazer but it has something extra which I quite like to be honest. What do you guys think about it? These were all my vintage per kilo clothes, not that much I know, but I am extremely happy with the things that I’ve bought there.
The mint blouse is oversized as well, god I’m really into oversized clothes haha. You can say, well it’s oversized, so what the hell are you going to wear by that. I can understand, a bit, but it’s not that hard to be honest. This colour just pops out and makes you look fresh, so just wear it with whatever you feel good in. So that’s exactly what I’m going to do, I think you will see a few looks on this blog in this upcoming year with that blouse. What do you guys think about the colour? For the ones who want to know were I got it, this is vintage as well, but there are some links below of product who look like these items. I guess I’m not only into oversized, vintage becomes my second love haha.
After vintage per kilo I went with my partner in crime to do some shopping as well. And I scored a few incredible items. Yes! Happy dance. I’ve bought the most perfect boyfriend jeans which I am absolutely deep in love with since I searched for a perfect boyfriend jeans for over a year now and I finally have it! It wasn’t even expensive since it was in sale! I can’t believe why you would put these incredible jeans in sale, but I certainly didn’t mind at all I guess you guys can understand that. Especially when the price was 10 euros. Are you kidding me?! I was in shock. And this adorable lace croptop is incredible as well. It has the most perfect fit and is perfect for every single season. These clothes, the vintage clothes, food and fun with my partner in crime made my day, or I guess I should say week.
