Lately

1) Window shopping in Greenpoint two days before I left.
2) Early blooms from my Mom's garden in the Valley.
3) The April evening-sun in my room.

I'm back in Norway again. And is completely surreal on one hand, and completely exhilarating on the other. Me and Sigurd were walking through Oslo two nights ago and it felt like we were the only people in the streets, making me yet again realize there is no place quite like New York. It's good to get a mental rest from it, although I know now that I will always miss it a little too.

The good things about being home are many. Especially the fact that I (hopefully) soon will settle in Oslo. The thought of living in one place for a longer period of time gives me a good feeling for a change. It's long overdue and I have to pinch myself sometimes to realize that it's happening. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, thinking that first comes the job and then the apartment. But I have to admit I'm already dreaming of my own little place.
