pumpkin patching

To make a long story short, yesterday was a long day. I thought "teething" behavior in babies was all a myth, but I have been very sadly mistaken these last couple weeks. We had been planning since the weekend to go to a pumpkin patch on Wednesday (yesterday), but after the long day Wyatt & I had, I just didn't think it would be in the cards for us. But I am beyond grateful we made it happen, because getting outside, taking some photographs with my real camera, picking out a pumpkin, enjoying the golden hour away from the hustle & bustle, was—without sounding too cheesy—exactly what I needed!! It's amazing what a little fresh air can do for my spirits. We got there a little after 5pm and they closed at 6pm, but I could have easily stayed there for a couple more hours.
