The Film Festival in Cannes is running at the moment and even though it is one of the most covetable scenes for the movie industry of the entire year, you could easily think it would be a fashion celebration. The red carpet is crowded with fashion profiles, icons and models, and the industry has taken this specific festival to the next level by hosting charity events (AmFar), parties and launch events. Karl Lagerfeld is one of them by celebrating his newest publication – Fendi by Karl Lagerfeld. The book celebrates Lagerfeld’s 50 years as creative director of the Italian fashion house, an impressive and record breaking tenure. Each of the five letters in the label’s name represents a milestone for Fendi and a decade of design brilliance for Lagerfeld. The exclusive party took place at one of Cannes’ beaches and the guest list included Kendall Jenner, Chanel Iman, Toni Garrn, and Harry Brandt.
