Gorgeous Garden Party with LZF Lamps

One of the absolute highlights of our Sunny Design Days tour was the amazing garden party that LZF Lamps threw us when we visited their factory and showroom in a small village outside Valencia. It was like stepping into the pages of Kinfolk Magazine, only a bit less pretentious.

We were all stunned by the atmosphere LZF and Masquespacio had created for us in the beautiful garden, with glowing lamps hanging from the trees, bartenders and waiters attending to our every need with mojitos and tapas in abundance, fun party music, and to top it all off, a beautifully set dinner table where we were served three different types of exquisite paella (one which we quickly renamed from ”gentleman’s paella” to ”smartphone paella” due to it’s pre-peeled seafood, saving your fingers from getting greasy). The whole garden was decked out with comfortable outdoor furniture from Expormim, a brand I will tell you more about in a later post.

I have to say, this was definitely one of the best blogger events I have ever experienced. After stepping out from the factory and into the sunset lit garden, we were all walking around with happy tears in our eyes, and the only thing coming out of our (otherwise quite expressive) mouths were ”stunning” and ”amazing”. No pictures can really do this event justice, because you just can’t photograph hospitality like this. Susanna and Allan came pretty close though, so I am borrowing their photos.

Even if you missed this great party, there are still a lot of ideas to take away for your own summer garden parties. Like the fact that lighting really makes such a huge difference, or the hand stamped personalized menus, or the idea to use rugs and cowhides outdoors to create little islands of cozy lounge areas. Anything else that catches your eye?

Our tour and events was part of the Design Bloggers United Spain tour, and arranged for us by Spanish Design Companies Association RED (Reunión Empresas de Diseño). It’s formed to promote Spanish design in international markets.
