The TriBeCa Penthouse at The Greenwich Hotel

Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt and Japanese architect Tatsuro Miki teamed up to create a luxury hotel in the heart of TriBeCa, NYC, working closely together with the hotels’ owners Robert de Niro and Ira Drukier. The result is The Greenwich Hotel, and the most impressive part is the TriBeCa Penthouse suite, with an equally impressive price tag of $15000/night. For that amount you will get an amazing 2800 sq ft three bedroom suite, and 4000 sq ft terraces with a private roof top pool. The interiors are very calming, kept in dark hues and natural materials, inspired by Japanese decorating philosophy Wabi Sabi, and I imagine this would be a perfect balance to the busy NYC experience.
