More Surgeries

Thank you for all the extra prayers for Owen! I know many of you have been worried about him, so here is a short update on both babies.

On Sunday night, we received a phone call from the neonatologist stating that Owen's recent incision was leaking a substantial amount of bile. No one really knew the nature or severity of the leak, so the plan was for Owen to return to the OR for corrective surgery at 6:30 this past Sunday. By 8:30(ish) Owen was back in his room recovering, and the leak was due to a cm of loose stitching (probably bc the child is a wiggle worm and to him recovering=playtime). For now, he is feeling pretty good, and stitches seem to be holding well.

Emmett will be returning to surgery for a skin graft on his foot this Thursday. And that child is loving life, even though his two top teeth are merely HOURS from poking through! He will have a total of three teeth! What a snaggletooth! Lol

oh geez... I love those little guys. I am blessed with 4 sweet boys.

Please keep the babies in your prayers this week, for continued healing and healthy development. And pray for Ethan. He's such a sweet boy, and sometimes, he just needs an extra pat on the back or kind word.
