Windownpane and chevron

I am a huge fan of mixing prints, as it adds such a fun and unexpected touch to an outfit.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready for the week!

I have longed admire anyone with an art of print mixing. It's actually not an easy style to pull off, and can require much thought and planning. I am by no mean an expert in print mixing. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've been an offender of this particular styling technique on more occasions than I'd like to admit.
But after many trials and errors, I've developed a couple rules that I stick by to get this style right (in my humble opinion). One. Whenever I consider mixing any prints, I try make sure the patterns are within the same color palettes. And two, which is a golden rule for me, less is truly more (i.e. start with smaller prints to get a of the combination before adding more patterns).
Have you ever tried print mixing? If so, do you have any tips you'd like to share?
And as always, thank you so much for reading!!
