Marni menswear fall winter 2015 / Backstage

Una sfilata. Una città. Un ritorno. Uno stilista. Una maison.
Marni è il soggetto. È tornato, predicato verbale. Firenze, complemento di stato in luogo. E se vogliamo aggiungere anche il complemento di tempo determinato, abbiamo una frase da scossa elettrica: Marni uomo è tornato in passerella, e nel farlo, ha scelto Firenze, nei giorni dedicati a un grande evento: Pitti immagine 87.
La città dell’arte è stata scelta dalla casa come palcoscenico per la collezione uomo autunno inverno. L’ottava arte, la moda, dialoga con l’architettura e la scultura nell’affascinante cornice del museo Marino Marini.
Questa location, chiesa sconsacrata con spruzzate di architettura contemporanea, incarna il messaggio della maison: il passato che strizza l’occhio al presente. Ritroviamo nella collezione l’eleganza di epoche passate, ma rivisitata, come se stesse cercando il suo spazio nell’oggi.
Costante della collezione è la pelliccia, che senza timidezza si impone in tutte le sue varianti. Troviamo cappotti dai tagli netti, abbottonature nascoste, dettagli ricercati,e qualità di tessuti, corposi e densi, come il chianti che si vede sbirciando sulle tavole toscane. Ecco che il sapore di terra, e di natura si ritrova in colori profondi come il marrone, il blu,e il nero, pizzicati da rossi e da gialli. La pittura non è dimenticata e viene richiamata dalle stampe floreali sulle camicie. Arte in ogni dove.
Non siamo nell’affasciante retrobottega di un sarto artigiano, ma solo nella mente creativa della stilista Consuelo Castiglioni che ha saputo creare capi d’eccezione unendo innovazione e funzionalità ,il classicismo con l’avanguardia.

The city of art was selected from the house as a stage for the men fall winter collection. The eighth art, fashion interacts with the architecture and sculpture in the charming setting of the Marino Marini museum.
This location, deconsecrated church with spurts of contemporary architecture, embodies the message of the maison: the past winks to the present. We find in the collection the elegance of past eras, but revisited, as if searching for its place in the present.
The fur is constant of the collection , which imposes itself in all its variations. Coats from sharp cuts, buttoning hidden, sophisticated details, and quality of fabrics, bodied and thick.
That’s the flavor of the earth, and nature is found in deep colors like brown, blue, and black, red and yellow. Painting is not forgotten and is invoked from the floral prints on shirts. Art everywhere.
We are not in the fascinating back shop of a tailor craftsman, but only in the creative mind of the designer Consuelo Castiglioni that has created exceptional clothes combining innovation and functionality, classicism with the avant-garde.
