Siamo abituati a vedere una NYC scintillante e piena di vetrine, bar e persone. La grande mela influenza la moda moltissimo e possiamo vederlo nei lavori di designer, fotografi e MUA. Io ho la fortuna di lavorare con il mio fidanzatino Nicholas che di cultura newyorkese ne è totalmente addicted specialmente del periodo compreso tra anni 70 e 80 , quando droga, criminalità e prostituzione mutavano ogni aspetto della città , nonchè periodo più prolifero per il writing (graffiti) nella sua essenza più vandalica.
Ho scelto di interpretare questo mood con un look di Coach che rappresenta la sensaluità spinta delle strade di NYC nei 70′ e che richiama la graffiti art con la T-shirt opera dell illustratore Gary Baseman.

We are accustomed to seeing a NYC sparkling and full of windows, bar and people. The big apple influences the fashion world a lot and we can see it in the work of designers, photographers and MUA.
I’m lucky because i work with Nicholas and his is addicted of New York culture, especially in the 70′ 80′s when drugs, crime and prostitution were changing every aspect of the city, as well as the most prolific period for writing (graffiti) as vandalism.
I chose to reinterpret this mood with a Coach look representing the sensuality pushed in the streets of NYC in the 70′s and recalling the graffiti art with the T-shirt designed by Gary Baseman.
