#OOTD: Culottes

Recently, I’ve had the urge to try the culotte trend so I headed to Nordstrom Rack for an on-trend pair that wouldn’t break the bank. Ok, technically these are gaucho pants, but to my mom they’re culottes. At least that’s all I’ve heard from her since I started sporting the flowy, mid-calf pants. She’d say, “your mom is SO hip. I used to wear culottes in high school. I’m such a trendsetter.” She was definitely on to something they’re comfy, lightweight and super versatile. The tailored fit is great for work (think cream colored shell w/ a cropped tweed jacket) and the blush tone makes them the perfect neutral. In the same shopping trip, I scored these Chloe sunnies, which was the icing on the cake. If you’re like me and wishing spring would come a little sooner, head to The Rack for a jumpstart on next season’s wardrobe.
