Well isn’t this dress just a spicy little meatball! I fell in love with our Seams Dandy Dress the moment I saw it at market last August.
Neon yellow fabric, interesting seams and a silhouette that seems to fall somewhere between shift and a-line. I’m basically a fool for forgetting to get a photo, but the back of this dress is open, perfect for the ladies like me who (a) don’t mind going braless or (b) are intrigued by the chance to show a little turquoise bralette.
If you’ve paid any attention to Australia’s fashion weeks/scene over the last several years, it makes perfect sense that this little number was designed down under. There’s almost an innovative rustling happening with their style community, and Elliatt (the designer of this dress) is definitely a part of it.
I wanted to accessorize this dress in complimentary way to the floral pattern on the pockets and along the bottom seam, so I went with cool purples and fuschias from my lips to my toes.
