2015 TREND ALERT: INTO THE WOODS
Keeping with the theme from my earlier post today -- thanks to films like “Into The Woods” alongside the popularity of fantasy television shows, the Seventies Bohemian Trend has officially expanded into a Fairytale Trend. Elements of that decade are woven together with childhood stories using peasant skirts, bell sleeves, hooded sweaters, fringe, patchwork, plaid and animal prints — just to name a few. The woodland forest craze had such an enormous following during the nature loving seventies and now with millennials craving fantasy infused video games and Sci-Fi literature more than ever, modern fairy tale loving society has definitely embraced beloved folklore inspired fashion.
