Leather Pleats

The leather pleated skirt has been on my mind since Céline Pre-Fall 2013, but as I am not a real skirt lover I was in doubt for a long time. While now, I am having one of those moments we all have every now and then, when we can’t imagine our lives without a new piece entering our wardrobe. This time this moment is all about this burgundy pleated gem. It’s a constant battle for me determining whether I want to dress feminine or go for something more boyish. I usually end up embracing the masculine side, so it rarely happens for me to choose a skirt over a new pair of classic trousers or ripped jeans. But, this time is different, I kept imagining myself wearing it with all my chunky knits, oversized shirts and white tees, which means adding it to my wardrobe was a real good idea.
