London Fashion Week A/W14 : The Somerset Cobbles

Nat's Nikon camera, my photography skills.
I know I know. Long overdueeee! But forgive me, for me and Nat have been working so hard on our work, and have been trying to catch up on sleep whenever there's a chance (there are barely any tho, fo real). What I learnt from being at Somerset House this second time round, was how difficult it was to find genuine street style. I began to wonder what good street style even meant, whether half these people were purposely "putting on a show" with their looks, or how many people actually went to see a show. This time round I got to see Phoebe English c/o Nat, Lucas Nascimento, Timur Kim, and even work for the Ryan Lo team. Not gonna lie, it was a good tiring one, but I didn't complain and I surely don't regret any of it.
In current times, I've just completed creating my first ever fashion editorial for a competition with i-D magazine called Diversity Now (click this to see), and got my new brief for term 3's project today regarding "Moving Images"!! So excited RN, but so little time!! Along with that, I learnt that wearing Jeffrey Campbell "franz chelsea" platforms for 6 hours to and fro uni in Shepherds bush and my hackney home, only reminded me of wearing pointe shoes during my ballet days. Fabulous for your legs aesthetically, hell on the inside. If you're a ballerina or Tyler Shields fan ,you'll definitely know how I feel. No wonder those JC's were on sale.

xx
