Spring Forward

All photos by John Robinson

Wearing: Lookbook Store Trench c/o, Zara Top (similar), Topshop Skirt, Isabel Marant Shoes (on major sale!), French Connection Purse (sold out, here's the larger version), ZeroUV Sunglasses c/o, Daniel Wellington Watch c/o, Mallory Shelter Ring c/o, NARS Lipstick

The day the clocks sprang forward was pretty much like Christmas for me. Even though it's only an hour, it feel like I have so many more hours in the day now. I'm not a morning person, so extra daylight in the evenings makes it possible for me to squeeze in at least one shoot per day. Working with my favorite photographer, John Robinson, is also perfection in this amazing light as the sunsets. We had a little too much fun with this shoot, I hope it shows. I'm over wearing the thickest coats ever already too and so a light trench coat is much more spring-appropriate.

I also recently got my first Daniel Wellington watch! I love a good watch and by "good" I don't mean it needs to tell the time well even. I love this one because it's so lightweight, I barely feel myself wearing it, and the look is so classic so I've found it goes with so many different looks. I'm usually a gold hardware kind of gal, but I've been really into silver lately, so I went with the black strap and silver casing. Be sure to check out the rest of their collection here if you haven't already.
