Style icon - Anja Rubik!

Anja Rubik is not only one of my favourite models on the runway, but also one of my favourite of duty models, rocking an amazing street style. Of course it is easy to say that having her body is enough and she could wear a potato sack and she would still look amazing...well that is true, but that's why I adore her style, as she doesn’t seem to put any effort to what she's wearing, but she does…and she is awesome at it! She rocks layers, she rocks boho and casual chic. And the best thing is that the end result looks so effortless. I think that's the key to rock any style, pulling it off without trying too hard to look perfect! I know can be hard to achieve effortless chic, but I do believe once you get into it it's not as difficult as you might think! All you need is some classic, simple pieces that you use as a base; let's say black skinnies, or a white loose fit simple t-shirt, or a shirt. You can obviously wear them all together and your goal is achieved straight away :) or you can use any one of them and mix it with a statement piece. For example you can wear skinny jeans, white t-shirt and add an animal print coat, or wear a simple t-shirt with statement jeans. The base is very simple but by adding something that bit ‘louder' you're spicing up the look. It doesn't have to be anything as brave as the animal print coat or jeans, you can just play with some statement jewellery pieces or sexy high heels and you're there too!
