There is strength in monochrome! :)

As my collection of shorts keeps growing, I’m happy to add these black & white ones to the list!:) On one hand it would be easy to match them with a white top to keep things simple, but I wouldn't be myself if I didn't try something a bit more daring with a strong coloured top. At the end of the day, summer is all about embracing the colours, especially those stronger, bolder ones that may not work so well in other seasons. But don't get me wrong, there is always a time and a place for the simple white top! The good thing about monochrome is that most colours will work well - especially the bolder ones such as red, yellow, pink, emerald blue etc. Pick one strong colour to go with your monochrome dress, skirt, shorts - a strong colour handbag, hat or statement jewellery. Strong coloured shorts or skirt will also compliment a black and white top. Of course you can use lighter colours, such as pastels, if you prefer but personally I think the monochrome is too strong for the pastels and the stronger colours work better in my opinion!
