DIY | THE ADVENT WREATH

Hello and happy first of advent! One of my Christmas decorations for this year is this advent wreath that I made with white plastic beads. My son and I made a bowl with this same method last year and I loved how the beads deform when exposed to the heat from the oven and so this year I made this wreath to hang in the window.

The how to:
Place one thousand white plastic beads on a baking tray lined with baking paper. I used outside of a spring form (left the bottom out) and distributed the beads into one even layer around the outside of the tin. Remove the tin and place the baking tray in a preheated 150°C oven (do not use the fan for this as the beads by go flying about) for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on the beads while they are in the oven as the melting process is quick. Take it out of the oven when melted and let it cool. Tie a string into the wreath and hang up. BLOGLOVIN
