Negative Space Mani with Julep Brielle
Hey there, hope you all had a nice weekend! I took my girls out to eat on Saturday because my fiancee was working on a job up north for the weekend. It was a nice girls night out, and then we came home and watched Barbie and the Secret door.
I remember when I first saw a negative space mani a while back and I thought “That looks so dumb!” However, after seeing many more since then they have kind of been growing on me. So, lately every time I see a picture of a negative space mani I think, “Man, I really want to try this soon…”
That brings us here, to today’s Mani Monday post. My first attempt at a negative space mani: (Click photos to enlarge)
My polish choice was Julep Brielle which is a lovely Autumn color. To get the half moon shape by my cuticle, I used those circular Reinforcement Label stickers on my bare nail and then painted them. On my ring finger, I also added a zig-zag sticker from Julep before painting over it. Then, when the paint was almost dry I removed the stickers. Voilá, simple as that!
