A Beautiful Nordic Inspired Winter Wedding Shoot….

Before we say a final goodbye to winter for another year, we have an absolutely stunning winter inspired shoot to share with you all, and when I say stunning, I mean STUNNING. In fact, this shoot is so beautiful that I almost feel sad that winter is over and that is saying something from a sun addict!
Sent across the channel from Karolina B, one of our favourite french photographers, and featuring the work of the incredibly talented Matthieu Cabot, Poppy Figue and The Cake, this shoot encapsulates everything that is beautiful about a Winter Wedding.

It all began with a drink on a Terrace…
…..in the summertime, in our loving “pink city”, Toulouse. Joli Coup de Pouce (event planner) and I, Karolina B. (photographer) were dreaming of undertaking a winter- inspired photo shoot with sledge dogs and a lot of snow. Project on…project done! On the 15th February, our “gang” flooded into the Nordic-styled village ANKAGA on the Plateau de Beille in Ariège Pyrénées, France.
Laura felt like working on this winter shooting with a different approach, a wink to the Nordic countries full of contrasts. She pictured it wild and uncluttered, designed and raw. A combination of softness and of strong genuine character to convey a designed and romantic look to the wedding… a true subtle watercolour-tinged tableau.
Talent and Innovation….
I am very happy that this lovely project can have grown into achievement thanks to this team filled with talent and innovation. Despite the snow, the cold and an altitude of 1.2 miles above the sea level, nobody was discouraged at any time! Everyone worked hard to arrange the setting with an amazing spirit! Our lovely couple of models (a real couple in real life) played the game wonderfully, as if they were living their own wedding! They made us live a lot of emotions! Especially after the reading of a surprise love letter from him to her which reduced us all to tears! This turned the shoot into an exceptional and memorable one even more!
We have, then, managed to get a beautiful and magical result: a great setting with genuine emotions.
Nothing is better for a styled-shooting!
