From photographer Luminaire Foto: It was a very breezy October day for this outdoor ceremony, located at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort on breathtaking Marco Island– so breezy that we had to go to our backup plan for ceremony and cocktail proving that a good backup plan makes all the difference! The resort’s stunning architecture and magnificent rooftop created an amazing backup option from the sand swept beachfront. We really wanted to bring garden romance to the beach by hanging floral adorned lanterns in lush purple and vibrant green florals.

We followed the feel into the ballroom which proved to be a perfect backup location to the then overly windy outdoor patio. By adding a runner of driftwood and succulents we were able to incorporate the beach just outside while inviting the garden in. The escort cards were set on custom logs displaying the table numbers on a bed of green moss. We just loved the little touches of burlap throughout to bring in that tiny touch of rustic charm!
