Pinsperation {Bobbed Hair}

My hair is pretty much full on bob length!! Woot! And since the issue with url images has now been fixed, pinsperation posts are back!

Here is one of the earliest image I have found with ladies hair bobbed.

Note that it is in the 1840s.

WWI era ladies loved bobs.
During the 1920s bobbed hair was all the rage. By the way, I love her cute menswear look. And those girl's dresses are so darling.

The bob was also quite popular during the 1930s Depression era. Finger waves and tight curls were also popular.

The war years, although quite recognized for the victory rolls and pageboys many women cut their hair either for military or factory jobs and it was easier to manage.

Post-war women finally had the chance to indulge in all things fashionable

Short hair was about the most popular hair style during the 1950s. You couldn't look at a fashion magazine or film star without seeing at least one gal who had chopped off her locks.
My first attempt at a vintage style was a bob and no matter what I always keep going back to it. Right now mine is so similar to the 1950s girl in front with Bettie Bangs and a curled page boy. I kinda want her outfit too.
