Penny Lane Coat // Death Valley

We immediately changed the direction we were driving the minute we saw a sign on the side of the endless road reading ‘Ghost Town’. Ghost towns kind of fascinate me! It was rad seeing all these abandoned buildings and structures in the middle of such a large national park. We drove around the area a bit and found a dope backdrop for my Penny Lane Coat. A little house/shack sitting by its lonesome. It was the same color as my coat and I had fun pretending like I just lived here in this weird furniture and windowless place.

Have I mentioned this coat is like my safety blanket? Whenever it’s super cold in San Diego or raining I love wearing a light slip dress under and just wear my big heavy coat all day over it.

John surprised me with a trip to Joshua Tree for my birthday. We leave again tomorrow morning! oh yeahhhh (kool aid dude voice) I am forcing myself to leave my favorite coat at home so I don’t get too dependent on it haha.
