Summer Solstice Party Idea: Watermelon Water Ice Bowl

I hope everyone is having an amazing first day of summer! If you’re having a solstice party, or even if you’re just looking for a refreshing treat, this is a really fun twist on watermelon — and it’s so easy to do. All you need is half a watermelon, ice, and a blender!

Scoop out the fruit from the watermelon half, and put in a blender. I used equal parts watermelon fruit and ice cubes. Blend until smooth, and pour the blended mixture back into the empty watermelon half. Place back in the freezer and let solidify for a few hours.

In just a few hours, you have delicious, refreshing watermelon water ice! And for parties, it doesn’t get much cuter than serving it this way – to make it a cocktail, add some alcohol of your choosing! Happy solstice everyone :).
