Factor 75 to the (Busy and Healthy Foodie’s) Rescue

I like to cook. (Duh, Captain Obvious — this is a food blog, after all.)

But, I also have a pretty demanding job, which means I don’t get to cook as often as I like. (Monday – Friday usually equals salad, ya dig?) And, despite the fact that I love cooking, I also understand the reality of my lifestyle. And, I also understand that many other people are in the same situation. We like food. We like to be healthy. We do as much as we can with the time we have. And sometimes, we could all use a little help.

Factor 75 to the rescue.*

Factor 75 – a prepared meals company located in Chicago — helps ensure that busy people can eat well, even when they don’t have time to cook. So when they reached out to me, I was interested in seeing what they were all about. Offering a variety of choices – including vegetarian, gluten free, and even paleo — Factor 75′s team of chefs create delicious meals that are hand-delivered to your doorstep. SO. EASY.

I requested the paleo meals (I’m so hip these days), and they sent me three — butternut squash lasagna (shown above), porto pizza tower, and coconut chicken curry. Each of the meals included nutrition information, as well as simple instructions on how to prepare (each took less than four minutes). The portions are large enough on their own, but could easily serve two with the addition of a salad or some steamed veggies.

Not only was Factor 75 nice enough to send me some meals to try, but they’re also hooking you (yes, YOU!) up with a $10 credit towards your first order. It’s basically like getting a meal for free. Simply sign up on their site using the invite code FRESHANDFOODIE and you’ll receive a $10 credit. Just be sure to use the invite code upon signing up to ensure it loads into your account.

Thanks again to the folks at Factor 75 for helping me through a busy week and for keeping my “oh-my-god-just-order-a-pizza-already” self in check. Go check ‘em out, order something delicious, and save $10 in the process. (Then, report back and let me know which meals you tried!)

*Factor 75 reached out to me, and I chose to cover their business and products because I found them to be worthwhile. Opinions are my own.
