Our MuckFest MS 2015 Philadelphia Event-Madelyn's a Mess with MS!

So guys MuckFest came and went. I can tell you that we all had a blast. I did the entire thing last year but this year I was put on new meds and was experiencing some new things that just made me feel weird and dizzy. The first obstacle was a tough one. It was completely different from last year. The hills were higher and the water was deeper. I took a few tumbles and got a few scrapes and bruises and swallowed a bit of muddy water and threw up some muddy water. I threw in the white towel at that point.

I sat out and laid down was trying to figure out what was wrong. I tested my blood sugar. It was 167! That would do it. I decided to catch up with the crew at the end and do the last 3 obstacles with them and cross the finish line. It was a fun time and I met some amazing people that I will be lifelong friends with. Overall our team raised a whopping $4575! We could not thank the donors enough!
Even though I didn't do the entire thing, I was in pain all day yesterday and I am still in pain today. I was looking through my coupons to find some bengay lol. I need it--I think I need about 4 tubes of that stuff for the next 2 days. And did I tell you that our team made the MuckFest MS Facebook Page? Look at the pic below!

That's us on the bottom left!
Below you will see a few collages of pictures from the event. My sister and Kris both have on teal bandanas. They both have MS. They worked their butt off out there! I'm so proud of the both of them. You will see us clean and very muddy! Hope you enjoy!

The pics below are of Kris and my sister Madelyn. They both suffer from MS and they both kicked butt at MuckFest!

A few group shots! Next time I think I'll go for a smaller size tee. It made me look a lot bigger than what I actually am. I looked like a whale!

Well there you have it guys! Hope you enjoyed our mud-tastic pictures!
