Dewy Spring Skin.

I, like most girls I’m sure, change up my makeup preferences often – one minute eyeliner and I are on a break, and the next I can’t get enough of the stuff. This definitely applies to my skin as well – I swear a couple of months ago I was fully committed to natural, matte skin. With Spring on the way (apparently), I’m now delving in to a dewy complexion…

One of my favourite picks throughout the seasons is the Nourish Illuminating Face Shimmer (£12.80), which is basically an ultra creamy, beautifully shimmery moisturiser. I find this is both quenching and perfecting, and it really works to even out tone and make my complexion glow. One quick application does wonders for my less-than-perfect skin!

I repurchased Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation (£8.99) recently and I’ve fallen in love all over again. This is the easiest, most natural budget base there is – it just melts in to the skin and corrects blemishes, redness and uneven tone without looking heavy. The natural, not-too-dewy finish is always a winner with me.

As for cheeks, I can’t get enough of this Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow (£55) palette – it’s not released until July, but it’s basically a creamy version of the original Filmstar Bronze & Glow. The dreamy highlighter looks incredible on the skin, and it’s just the right shade for this time of year. I pair it with the Topshop Cream Blush in Head Over Heels (£7) and my skin looks fresh and awakened. Creamy cheek products are everything!

Also here is my much loved Guerlain Meteorites Pearls (£36); these complexion-enhancing pearls will breathe life in to the skin, and keep makeup looking healthy all day. I tend to sweep them over the skin lightly, more as a finishing powder than anything else. It’s a quick step that makes a noticeable difference!
