Let’s challenge our favorite go-to color in our closets. We’re looking at you, LBD! The little black dress is a fan favorite, but can we pair it with other black accessories without looking gothic? Of course!

Choose monochromatic hues that compliment your personal style. While I love dressing in black from head-to-toe, my personality is definitely not one of a moody artist. Instead of instinctively going for a bright pop of color, play with a pattern, and look for fine details to feature with winter whites and shades of grey. My personal style touch for this Spring/ Summer 2014 favorite? A light grey winter beanie, laced up off-green heels, and a bit of gold glitter on my nails (for a dose of extra glam!)
