Weddings are such a great excuse to get dressed up and what girl doesn’t love a reason to pull out all the stops? A wedding is the ultimate glam occasion, whether you are there in support of a friend or family member, or it is you committing yourself to the one you love.

The thing about weddings, however, is they have rules. Not everyone adheres to rules, which is why there are people that will show up in black or white ensembles, two things, that are a wedding no no. Black is for funerals, white is for brides. Period. As a guest, you may not agree with that, but respect must be paid to the couple who has invited you to share in their very special day.

So what is appropriate? Unless it’s black tie or a beach wedding, I say cocktail is the norm. But that doesn’t mean you have to be boring. This jumpsuit is something I would wear, particularly to a winter wedding (which there really aren’t enough of in my California residing opinion!) It’s the perfect combo of glam and sophistication, topped off with a sleek braid and a statement earring.

But to be honest, no matter how fabulous you look, or the fact that you abide by the fashion rules, there will always be someone who doesn’t, or something crazy that happens. Like drunken groomsmen making horrible speeches or hitting on Aunt Martha who is wearing a curtain from 1962. That uncle who suddenly thinks he can break dance or the sister of dyed her hair blue the day before your wedding (yeah I’m talking to you Kylie Jenner!)

Sometimes in the moment, these things can seem horrible, but personally, I think it’s these very things that make weddings memorable. They are the things people will talk about for years to come, which is what it’s about, lasting memories. This may be why wedding movies are so great. Who doesn’t love to watch someone else’s wedding disaster over and over? And there’s a new one coming out that I think you guys are going to love. Scroll down for more!

You may have seen the previews for the hilarious new comedy The Wedding Ringer starring Kevin Hart, Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, but if you haven’t you are in for a treat!

Josh Gad plays Doug Harris who is a lovable, yet socially awkward guy who has no best man. He is less than two weeks from marrying the girl of his dreams (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and wants everything to be perfect for her. He ends up hiring Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) the owner of Best Man, Inc., a company that provides flattering best men for socially challenged guys in need. Essentially he is a best man for hire. What ensues is a hilarious wedding charade as they try to pull off the big con, and an unexpected budding bromance between Doug and his fake best man Jimmy.

Here is the trailer in case you missed it:

The movie opens in theaters January 16th, so make sure you check it out if you want to laugh your butts off and to see if Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting’s character finds out the truth. Oh and in the meantime check out this hilarious The Wedding Ringer Photo Bomb feature and you can get a pic like this one.
