Review: The New Dr.Hauschka Foundation 01

I’m always looking for the perfect organic cruelty-free foundation without mineral oil and silicone. Boy I can tell ya that’s not an easy task. I really liked the old Translucent Make-up by Dr. Hauschka but the color range was quite awful. They just didn’t have the right shade for me. When I read that they were going to have a new foundation I was really excited and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Thanks goodness my sisters got me one for my birthday last February.
The foundation comes in five shades. I have the 01 macadamia. It’s the lightest color and it has a yellowish undertone. Well the color is perfect for me but if you’re very pale it might still be a bit too dark for you. The packing looks very elegant and posh. I really like the new black tube with the golden inscription. You can easily remove the right amount of foundation. The first thing you notice when you open it is the new scent. Smells a bit like vanilla and coconut. I know that many people complained about the old scent but I actually preferred it. I have no idea why a foundation needs a fragrance anyway. The coverage is light and you can’t build it up at all. I have tried and tried without any success. So if you’re looking for medium/full coverage skip this foundation! If you have ever tried an organic foundation then you have probably noticed it’s not easy to apply compared to a silicone based foundation. Sadly this foundation is no exception. Firstly it didn’t work with my daily moisturizer. I have tried with my stippling brush and then with my fingers. It looked awfully streaky. So I tried with another moisturizer and then it finally worked. I like the result. Gives your face a beautiful natural glow without being greasy. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy it when it’s empty. I like it but there are better organic foundations out there that are not that pricey.

Ich bin immer auf der Suche nach der perfekten NK Foundation ohne Mineralöle und Silikone. Ich kann euch sagen, die ist gar nicht so einfach zu finden. Ich mochte das alte Translucent Make-up von Dr.Hauschka, aber die Farbauswahl war doch recht bescheiden. Die Töne waren alle viel zu dunkel und vor allem rotstichig, bis auf die 00, aber auch dieser Ton hat nicht gepasst. Als ich dann in einem Magazin gelesen habe, dass es eine neue Foundation von Dr.Hauschka geben wird, konnte ich es kaum abwarten diese auszuprobieren. Meine Schwestern Holly und Lola waren so aufmerksam, sie mir gleich zu meinem Geburtstag letzten Februar zu schenken.
Die Foundation gibt es in fünf Nuancen. Ich habe die 01 macadamia. Die hellste Farbe im Sortiment, mit einem gelblichen Unterton. Die Farbe ist echt super und passt sich wunderbar meinem Hautton an. Für die ganz hellen Schneewittchen-Typen wird das mit Sicherheit immer noch zu dunkel sein. Die neue schwarze Verpackung mit dem goldenen Schriftzug sieht sehr edel aus. Man kann die richtige Menge leicht entnehmen und ich finde es hygienisch und praktisch zugleich. Das erste was mir aufgefallen ist als ich Tube geöffnet habe, ist der neue Duft. Riecht ein bisschen nach Vanille und Kokos. Ich weiß, dass eine Menge Leute den alten Geruch als störend empfanden, aber ich mochte ihn . Na ja Geschmackssache. Warum eine Foundation überhaupt parfümiert sein muss wird mir ein Rätsel bleiben. Ich bevorzuge parfümfrei. Die Deckraft würde ich als leicht bezeichnen. Man kann sie auch nicht schichten. Wer viele Hautunreinheiten hat, die er abdecken möchte, wird damit bestimmt nicht glücklich. Jeder der schon mal eine Foundation ohne Silikone/Mineralöle ausprobiert hat, weiß das man diese nicht so leicht auftragen kann. Leider ist die Dr.Hauschka keine Ausnahme. Mit meiner Tagespflege hat sie sich überhaupt nicht vertragen. Es wurde nur streifig und fleckig und es haben sich kleine Krümel gebildet. Ich war echt verblüfft, weil ich das von Dr.Hauschka bisher nicht kannte. Ich habe es mit meinem Stippling Pinsel probiert und dann nochmal mit meinen Fingern. Es ging überhaupt nicht. Also habe ich eine andere Tagescreme versucht und siehe da, dann hat es geklappt. Da die Foundation recht schnell trocknet, sollte man sich beeilen beim Auftragen. Mir gefällt das Ergebnis, aber von einem makellosen Finish würde ich nicht sprechen. Trockene Stellen werden betont. Vielleicht ist die Foundation eher für ölige Haut geeignet. Ich werde mal schauen, wenn meine Haut von der kalten Jahreszeit nicht mehr so strapaziert ist. Dafür hält sie aber recht lange auf der Haut und das Gesicht bekommt einen schönen Glow, ohne dabei speckig auszusehen. Ich weiß noch nicht, ob ich sie mir kaufen werde, wenn sie leer ist. Ich finde, es gibt besser NK Make-ups, die auch noch günstiger sind.
