Enchanted Polish Congratulations

The Enchanted Polish problematic – or a tale of supply and demand, and how it awakens feelings in people and fuels the fire of envy and desperation. You wouldn’t have guessed that the nail polish world had the power to turn friends against friends? Well, honey, it’s a cruel world. (I think it would be a great topic for a bachelor thesis for a student of psychology and economics.)

Seriously, I have the most fun reading 12940324879 comments about people being disappointed that they didn’t get what they want in a restock. There are actually restocks that are sold out after a minute, and you have to get lucky to get what you want.

Unless you come upon a silent restock by chance, this is what happened to me: I was checking Pshiiit boutique for an entirely different nail polish and decided to just click “Enchanted Polish“. And there they were, all those polishes I had considered buying but never did – I don’t feel like getting up in the middle of the night for a nail polish, I’m not that crazy.

So this is how I ended up with Congratulations, a burnt red/orange linear holo with a bronze duochrome effect. I used two coats for these swatches.
