Sunday Spam: red #2

Hello there! Today I’m spamming you with red polishes again. Honestly, do you rather scroll through spams sorted by color or by brand? It’s the eternal question of sorting your collection by brand or by color. Life can be so fundamently difficult.

NOPI Kardashing through the snow (over Joe Fresh Ruby) is not technically red polish, but as it has as much red glitters as other colored ones, I figured whatever. It’s the small, color reduced version of Deborah lippmanns epic polish Happy Birthday. But not nearly as awesome. 1 coat.

Nubar Prize is a red jelly with holographic glitter. I like this kind of polish, I like this kind of red. The spark comes with the flash. 3 coats.

OPI Dutch Tulips is a medium red creme that needs 2 coats for coverage.

OPI Mamma Mia (over Zoya Livingston) is a sheer pink jelly with silver flecks and tiny color shifting microglitters. It works best over black, but I love it over red as well.

OPI Speak for your elf is a red jelly packed with red glitters. 2 coats.

OPI The impossible (over Essie head mistress) is a red texture polish. I’ve shown you this one in a How I wore it post here.

OPI Too hot Pink to hold’em is a pinkish red jelly. It’s called a sorbet or something awkward like this, but it is very squishy and vibrant so I’ll forgive poor naming attempts. I’ve shown you a week of looks with this, one of them is here.

OPI Wocka Wocka is a medium red shimmer with a slight pink undertone. 2 coats.

Risqué Metalico Rubi is a shimmery red. The metallic part I guess mainly consists of the hint of brushstrokes? 2 coats.

Spa Ritual Break of Dawn (over Isa Dora Orient Express) is a red jelly with glassflecks.

Spa Ritual Spirit Child is a shimmery red – the shimmer looks pink in some lights and golden in others. 2 coats.

MAC Imperial Flower is orange, I know. It is such a dark orange though that it landed in my red spam. Plus, I have maybe one or two other orange polishes, because I really don’t wear orange except for those 2-3 orange polishes I have. The formula of this is not as bad as other MAC polishes. I really like how vibrant it is and I love the golden glitter particles. 2 coats.

Mavala Santos (on the ring finger I’m wearing 1 coat of Lynnderella Cauldron Drippings) is a super old polish from Mavala. I love the bottle shape, it’s much quirkier than the newer bottles. The polish is a bit too thin, but the red is gorgeous. It has a subtle silver shimmer! 2 coats.

Misslyn Sexy Love (over Layla Ruby Red) is a deep red jelly with larger red glitters and smaller pink and blue glitters. I used 1 coat.

Have you tried any of these polishes?
