I love me some Halloween, guys.

Even still. As an “adult”.

And we dress up every year because it’s awesome and you should, too.

But.

Finding a great idea is not always easy.

Especially when one out of two costumes must somehow incorporate a beard.

So we need some help picking this year’s costume and here are some of our choices:

1. Richie and Margot Tenenbaum

I think this would be super fun and actually really easy to pull off.

And it would totally justify the purchase of a Birkin, right?

RIGHT?

2. Jay and Silent Bob

This would be a motherfucking blast.

And how hard can it be to find some JNCOS?

I also thought about Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox– but what do you do for an ox besides horns?

And you’re high if you think I’m painting myself blue.

This was last year’s costume, which was really fun- albeit time consuming.

I DIY’d the shit out of last Halloween.

And I don’t think I want to do that this year.

I mean, don’t get me wrong: I am never going to buy a costume, but I also don’t have to hand-cut and -sew a gazillion apples for two months prior either.

Like, this was one of my absolute favorites and involved almost no planning.

I went as Bob Dylan and Ryan went as Allen Ginsberg.

Unfortunately, finding a wig that even mildly resembled Ginsberg’s crazy hair was fucking impossible.

The best we could do was this strange clown/Larry Stooge hybrid.

But it didn’t really matter anyway because people are disappointing and even when you tell them he’s supposed to be Allen Ginsberg they don’t even know who the fuck that is in the first place.

So we changed it for another party and went as Bob Dylan and Tramp Clown.

Eh.

For some reason though, Ryan and I are absolutely terrible about getting good photos on Halloween. Most of the time we don’t even take photos.

Undocumented, but awesome were:

Pinocchio and Gepetto

Brit and Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords (prize winning!)

But that’s okay because this year we will take the biggest and bestest photos ever, I swear.

We just need help deciding what to be.

New suggestions welcome too, but beard.
