Hexagon Geometric Wall Art

If you’ve got some walls that are in need of decor, I’ve got a fun DIY wall art idea for you today that you don’t have to be an artist to pull off. You can make your own geometric art by cutting up basic shapes and using Mod Podge to adhere them to wooden panels! If you have a stash of scrapbook paper you love, you can have a lot of fun with this idea.

I made the job easier by die-cutting my hexagons with my Sizzix machine, but you can use any geometric shape to create a pattern you love. You can use small punches or large shapes – or a combination of the two! Geometric shapes are easy to cut so you don’t even need a fancy machine to make this project.

I know it’s a lot of purple, but my daughter is at “that age” right now, haha. It’s all about the girly colors! I did mix in some shades of gray to tone it down a little, and I love the effect. If pastel isn’t your thing, though, make it bright! You really have endless possibilities with this project.

I’ve got the full tutorial and supply list over at the Core’dinations blog, so come on over, say hello, and check it out!
