SpaceNK Christmas Gift Ideas: Him and Her

I'm sure I'm just one of many who would be absolutely overjoyed honestly wouldn't mind if every Space NK warehouse in the country dumped their entire stock on to my doorstep. A handpicked selection of products, the beauty mecca always features heavily on my Christmas list, whether it be one of their limited edition Christmas kits (see Aromatherapy Associates) or bits and pieces from their permanent range (Tom Ford, Acqua di Parma, Laura Mercier...you name it). I've put together a list of products I think would be perfect for Christmas presents this year - some for him, some for her, and some for both!

Aromatherapy Associates Festive Collection, £35
I know I've moaned about the value of this set, and I stand by that, but show me pretty packaging and I'll sell my soul! In all seriousness, if I was to shell out the cash for Aromatherapy Associates oils, it'd be Christmas that warranted such loosening of purse strings/better judgement. These oils are really lovely and make bath times that little bit more enjoyable, using aromatherapeutic powers to ease you to sleep, to revive you in the morning, to relax muscles...you name it. My personal favourites are the 'Equilibrium' and 'Support' oils for when you need a little bit of balancing.
Diptyque Exclusive Collection of 10 Votives, £95

I'm a Diptyque virgin and this pains me. I can't justify the £95 spend on myself but it'd be a great joint gift to give to a deserving mum/grandma/friend/sister - split the cost with someone else and it doesn't feel quite so painful on the purse! Diptyque candles are renowned for their quality and mesmerising scents and I know I'd be thrilled to find these under the tree come Christmas Day...*hopes Santa reads blog*

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Honey Bath, £31
If the mere look of this doesn't entice you, what lies within certainly will. A liquid addition to your bath that transforms into foam, it works to nourish the skin whilst relaxing mind and body. Formulated with shea butter and vanilla extracts as well as pro-Vitamin B5 to balance moisture and hydrate the skin, it's a delight both in how it looks/smells/feels and how active it is at restoring your skin, too.

Malin Goetz Dark Rum Candle, £37
I was introduced to Malin Goetz at the hotel I stayed in when I was in Miami in the summer. Amongst others was a miniature Rum shower gel and it was just beautiful, so though I've never smelled this in person, I can imagine it's just as nice - if not more so.

Essie Nail Polish in Luxedo, £11
Although my Essie collection is borderline embarrassing in terms of quantity, I've yet to nab Luxedo, a gorgeous dark plum colour. I'm leaning these days toward classic, understated, pair-it-with-anything shades and this (hopefully) will be the next addition to my collection.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Splash, £87
If you've never had a whiff of anything Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford, get yourself to the nearest counter immediately. If I recall correctly this is billed as unisex and I'd absolutely agree with that - it's an aquatic scent and just defines fresh, clean and well put together (to me, anyway). The price of this is extortionate and quite frankly if I had it I'd probably never use it as each use would probably cost you about £5! Still, a girl can dream.

Percy and Reed No Fuss Dry Conditioner, £12
We all know (and some of us love) dry shampoos, but Percy and Reed have gone one step further and brought out a Dry Conditioner. I've seen plenty of buzz about this and the reviews have been positive - if Santa fancied including this in my stocking, I'd be a very happy bunny!

Neville Face Reviver, £25
Neville is a brand new brand from the brains over at Cowshed, a range of men's grooming products in what I think might be the best packaging ever. I've ordered various bits and pieces from the range to give as Christmas gifts as I think the old-school, apothecary-style packaging would make any bloke pretty happy come Christmas Day.

Shu Uemura False Eyelashes Smokey Layers
, £18.50
I managed to grab a few pairs of Shu Uemura lashes from Space NK's January sale last year and the quality is just unmatchable in my opinion. Perfect again as a stocking filler or just to add to your basket for Christmas parties and the like, you can't go wrong with a bit of Shu.

Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in 'Icon', £21
I'm still yet to try anything Hourglass and when that day comes, this will be first into my shopping bag. A gorgeous red-wine shade it's very much of the current season and from various reports, the quality of these babies is just impeccable. Me want.

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo Di Sicilia Shower Gel, £26

Finally another overpriced shower gel, although in comparison to the Tom Ford offering it's a steal. Mandorlo di Sicilia is one of a number of Blu Mediterraneo scents and it's my favourite of the bunch - star anise, bergamot, orange, almond and ylang-ylang make up this beast and it's absolutely beautiful.

What's on your Space NK wishlist at the moment?
